DVD Cloner 2.0 (New Version)

DVD Cloner is one of the top ranked products with easy of use and superior quality. They have some documentation available on the website, but there is no help manual available. You can copy dvd's with just one click step. One thing I liked about the DVD Cloner II is that it comes packaged with a CSS decryptor and there is no additional download necessary. DVD movies can be copied to one regular DVD R/RW(4.7GB). Only takes one hour to copy a 2 hour long movie. Perfect 1:1 copy - Copies everything(movie,extra,special etc). Even copy from a copied movie. The DVD-Cloner II keeps its product simple by automatically doing the compression for you.

Overall, DVD Cloner II is an excellent DVD copying product and one of the few available that includes the CSS decryptor. The user interface is very simple and easy to understand and the Help menu is very useful in finding the answers to all DVD copying questions.

DVD Wizard Pro

DVD Wizard Pro is an excellent product for someone who knows a little bit about DVD copying. It has the most features and options of all the versions of DVD copying software available. It takes a few more steps to follow and you will use different tools to do to the process. However, the help document is extensive and includes a step-by-step process for each feature. It is laid out nicely with pictures for the non-technical person.

The copy quality is nearly perfect, and the special features and menus options of the DVDs we copied are all intact and functioning.

One feature they have is the option given to copy onto either DVDs or CDs. I found that trying to copy SVCD onto a CD, there would be an error while converting the ripped DVD to SVCD. This didn't happen when copying the SVCD to DVD.

Overall DVD Wizard Pro is one of our top choices when copying a DVD to a DVD disk.

DVD Squeeze

DVD Squeeze is a fair product, as it is easy to install and has a great help document. It does a good job of ripping the movie and compressing it to DIVX. The drawback with DVD Squeeze is that I had trouble with the burning software. However, with the help of Nero software you can produce a great copy using CD-R and SVCD.

The startup menu is easy to understand, until you reached the software portion. Unless you have read the manual and understand the terms like DVIX and MPEG, these programs will be very confusing.

Overall, DVD Squeeze is a decent product if you just want to copy your DVD to a CD-R.
